Following my passion
I’ve had a camera in my hands since I was a teenager, inspired by my father who was a keen and particularly accomplished black and white print photographer. However a career in agriculture and medical technologies kept me away from my passion until Covid.
During lockdown I decided to use my time to develop my knowledge and skills so I could one day make photography my focus in life.
Being a keen countryman and outdoors person, wildlife and landscape images inspire me the most and I hope that what I share here in some small way inspires you too!
Since early 2020, I have tried to document the wildlife local to my home in Norfolk, following them through their seasons. I have particularly got to know the local roe deer and hare populations very well, which feature strongly in my portfolio. The beautiful Norfolk coast also offers spectacular bird life and seal colonies; I intend to spend more time with them over the seasons.
Further afield I have been very lucky to stay on the west coast of Scotland on the Sound of Jura which has provided incredible scenery and amazing wildlife. Some of the images also feature here. Enjoy!
